	The proposed location of the blood bank. The Lourdes Hospital, better known as German Hospital, is run by dedicated Italian Nuns. It is known for its high standard of service. And being a Charitable Hospital, it is a boon to many poor people in and around Dharwad.Only possible hitch is lack of highly equipped labs. But now with Rotary to help them out, in a short time we may have a very well equipped Hospital.Lourdes Hospital has already constructed a separate building for Blood Bank

	PRIDE OF DHARWAD Sister Leonarda, who's the chief in-charge of the Hospital, was recognized for her service by Government of India and was awarded PADMASHREE last year(1997). Padmashree is one of the highest award a civilian can get. With her being in charge of this Blood Bank, we see no obstacles in the Project.
