Server Migration- The company that hosted dharwad.com ( Interliant) was bought over by another company, Interland. This business deal made the hosting company to force dharwad.com to migrate from Interliant servers to Interland servers. You may not notice any changes during this move. The migration was completed on Mar 2nd 2002 and probably it took 48-72 hrs for all the DNS servers around the world to get updated. During this period if you added any entries to guestbook or discussion board, probably they would have been gone to servers on Interliant and hence may be lost. One important aspect of move was change in operating systems. So if you had registered in discussion forum, your passwords wont work anymore ( as passwords cannot be moved from one OS to another) So please re-register on new server. Sorry for inconvinience, and hope you understand that these things are beyond control of dharwad.com |
