AMBULANCE SERVICE: Finally accessible, quick transport facility for the people who need medical emergencies in accidents due to heavy traffic between Hubli and Dharwad. Shri Ravishankar Bhooplapur an entrepreneur from New York has donated two Ambulances. This service is accessible for 24 hours a day and is free of cost to all in need. This idea was conceived and put into implementation by Shri Ravishankar Bhooplapur.

Dialysis Center: Finally a ray of hope for the people suffering from kidney problems of Dharwad Dist. Mr. Ravishankar Bhooplapur an entrepreneur from New York in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Dharwad Central have set up a dialysis center at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital (German Hospital) at Dharwad on 29^th April 2001.

Now the people of Dharwad will not have to travel long distance to Hubli or Belgaum and spend huge amounts for dialysis. The main focus of this project is to serve the middle and the lower middle class people at an affordable cost. Also the Managing Committee has the right to decide free service to under-privileged people. But the the same time, the upper middle class people will be charged at par with other Dialysis Center.

The Center was set up at a cost of $50,000.
