This brings back the good old memories of dharwad. I was raised and educated in dharwad. Although it has been a long time since I visited dharwad, I miss it a very much. I miss my friends who are still there. I hope to visit my favorite place - dharwad, very soon.

This site took me to the greenary student life what I spent (ie. KCD) in Dharwar.Really wonderful job.
My suggestion is try to reflect the unchurrished history of Dharwar in the field of education, Top heads
from Dharwar in the various fields ( ie. music, Art, medicine,Science and technology etc.) that gives precise
meaning about Dharwar in the education Arena.

I have spent the best years of my childhood in Dharwad and I miss those good old days. I have been a student of St.Joseph's High School and it was great to see a picture of my school on this site.

Though i didn't grow up in Dharwad, i have some faint but beautiful memories of my native place. This site has stirred up the Dharwadian in me! But I would like to see pictures of everyday life, and not just of landmarks in the region....the images i have retained of Dharwad are the old houses in the gallis, the red soil, the bustling marketplace, the Dharwad Pedhes!!!MORE PICTURES!!! and most of all, i'd like to see a pic of the guys that made this site happen. It is a wonderful site about Dharwad with lot of information. Can u add some information about the lions and other club activities ? Also is it possible to bring the dharwadi's on net together through a list of their email ids?It is a nice effort to make dharwad look more beutiful on the net too.Keep it up.

This page is just too good. I was in Dharwad all my life. I am sure you have heard of Principal Bennur, he is my grandfather. My parents are both professors in Chemistry department, KUD. I must say this, Dharwad is the best place on earth. I keep visiting this page everyday, makes me feel so nice. Keep up the goodwork. I liked the snaps of KCD, Basel Mission (my Alma maters) and also the one of KCC bank in front of Ammingad..Goodluck, and hope to see a lot more snaps.. May be you can include a list of hotels out there :)

Let me begin by saying that I was quite impressed with the
work put together so far on Dharwad. The photgraphs are
quite good and we do need more of those. I am not from
Dharwad but both my parents were from Dharwad.

Here are few things that I would like to suggest.

I have been to the Someshwar temple not because of the temple
but to jump into the pond infront of it. I wish there was
a photograph of that.

I remember the railway station and the bus stand with lots
of people Tangas, and Autorickshaws. Don't miss out on the
Tangas that are still around in Dharwad.

I remember waiting in line at the Babusingh pedha shop to
get the fresh pedhas. We cannot forget the Misra and Babusingh
pedhas. Also, the market place where every time I go I have
to buy supari. LEts have some photographs of that.

I do have relatives who own mango plantations in Dharwad.
All I am saying is that along with this web page serving
as a tourist guide, make sure it also makes people who have
roots in Dharwad are drawn towrds it more and more.
