Its been a long time since I visited my native place, Dharwad. This website has given me a free ticket to my place. Nostalgia in my mind !!!

Hearty Congratulations to those who have created and are taking pains to maintain this site. It certainly is nostalgic to visit home from the desktop across the world.
Though Dharwad is unique, it is an integral part of Hubli Dharwad Corporation for quite some time(30+ years). You have recognised it by including KMC etc. If possible enhance it further by covering the entire area.
Dharwar has produced or is associated with many personalities from all fields. Do expand the list and pay tributes to them. May be you could even have who-is-who of Dharwad.

Dharwad sounds and looks like a wonderful place to live. I am considering opening a multinational
company and would appreciate any information that would help me in deciding on whether or not
Dharwad would support such a joint venture. Information needed, ie., Human Resource issues, with

Hi,
I was looking at the Discussion forum and one of the topics
was about the Enterpreunorship Spirit of the people from North Karnataka. Lot of things can be done if one desires. Take a look at the www.homeindia.com site.It has so many good services for the NRIs. Why shouldn't somebody come forward to do such services in a place like Dharwad. Now that Dharwad is well linked with the Internet community it shouldn't be a difficult task. Hope some good soul reads this and takes the first step. Hampya, site has improved a lot and thanks for putting Kannada Fonts.

What an effort!!! :)....I've been visiting this site ever since it came into being... and it keeps surprising me with nice additions and changes each time I return.....the best part about this site is the guest book....As I go through it each time, I have a smile on my face...the reason being...having stayed in Dharwad for so long, I have heard most names (or surnames or both!!) in some context or the other...It really makes one feel at home...

I have mu native roots in this town and I absolutely LOVE Dharwad.....I haven nothing but good memories about this town.
Let me congratulate u for the good efforts that u are taking to build this site. It seems to be quite informative.
Just one recommendation I will like to make here...I hope u do not mind that.....I read that the site was under construction...but I would think the name of the company developing the site and such details would be nice tobe visible on the home page.

It would be nice if you can make Non-Resident Dharwadian's (NRD) address book which helps people to come closer, specially for those living in the same city.
