Attacks on Kannada people in Pune, Kholapur and other places of Maharastra, Goa and border area of Nippani by goondas - in name of Marathi and Maharastra is deplorable. What possibly they who mastermind such voilence expect, is a counter attack on maratha people in karnataka. Voilence results in voilence and when two states burn, the politicians will cook thier meal on it. please all deplore voilence and maintain peace. We must never allow the seperatists and voilence to gain any advantage. The Maharastra government must take action against those responsible for voilence against kannada people in Maharastra. It will only bring creditability to the government as being impartial. But whether the chief minister Mr.Deshmukh wants it is a open question now. Again, a prayer for peace and brother hood. Raj

where were you when Kannada goondas attacked mayor of belgaon. Where was your cm then. Where were you when 9 people were killed in 1986 by your police when they were fighting for their demand to be with Maharashtra. Why are you suppressing our people. Who has given your police right to invade Marathi's villages and kill them.

	There was no attack on More. It was just a protest.He was blackened on his face for his illegal decision.Thats it.Your MES scoundrels narrated this by adding masala and you blindly believed.If our Kannada activists were goondas then they had a chance to even kill More or atleast break his legs or hands.They did not even brought a scratch in him.I Support this act, and no person believes it as an attack.It is absolutely the right thing what was done.I support Kannada sanghatana.I support Belgaum.I support Karnataka. 	Dinesh MES, irrespective of who the leaders then were or what they stood for, did instigate voilence in a big way in Belgaum. The way they reacted with uncontrolled voilence after Mayor More incident in Belgaum is a recent example for this. It is absurd to claim that Women and children were going around with aim to burn the police men alive. It was only when they had to save thier lives and lives of innocents did the police fire and if innocents were killed, it is MES who is to be blamed. I can give you year by year account of how MES and maharastra politicians have used voilence to make life in belgaum miserable for common man. It is a shame that one such goonda called Sharad pawar is today a minister of India. Leaving bygones by bygones, it is time to eschew voilence and let peace prevail in Belgaum. Development of Belgaum is important now. bye VR I dont comment on ##### written by Sanjay sabale or others of his ilk. I've been going through the discussions on this issue and find it interesting. I would like to ask first the supporters of MES, Marathi language and Maharastra; how many of you have met and discussed things with MES leaders and MES supporters? Not to boast off but for your information, I have met with the MES legislators and Belgaum corporators. They just want to continue with MES because, they opine, "We get funds just because we oppose the Govt. of Karnataka. The CM tries to woo us and we are happy at the end of it. We are jobless if Belgaum is demarcated as M'stra. We are just interested in continuing this and threatening the people around, this brings us power too". All of you might question the credibility of my quotation, but believe friends, I'm telling this as an Indian. If the fight for Belgaum is to be justified, then places like Miraj, Sangli and Sholapur should be merged with Karnataka!! Miraj, a place for hospitals, is majorly fed by patients from Karnataka in and around Athani, Kaagwad etc. Sholapur still is home of 40% Kannadigas. Kannada films run houseful in that place. Recently Apthamitra completed 100 days in one of the theatres at that place!! Kannadiga from Hubli, Mahidhar
